The "Get Notified" feature in Zeda.io is designed to keep you in the loop by notifying you when key activities happen across your feature backlog or feedback dashboard.

Whether it’s about a particular feature or feedback. it ensure that everyone relevant is alerted when something of interest is taking place. This helps in staying updated and making timely decisions without needing to constantly check on each entity.

Notifications You Can Set

For Feedback/Insights:

  • Status Update: Be notified when the status of a feedback or insight changes.

  • Assignee Update: Receive alerts when the person responsible for a feedback or insight is changed.

  • Custom Field Updated: Get notified when a custom field associated with a feedback or insight is updated.

  • Company Tagged: Stay informed when a specific company is tagged in feedback or insight.

  • Feature Linked: Receive notifications when a feedback or insight is linked to a specific feature.

For Features:

  • Status Update: Know when the status of a feature is changed.

  • Assignee Update: Be alerted when a feature’s assignee is changed.

  • Title/Description Updated: Receive notifications when a feature’s title or description is updated.

  • Custom Field Updated: Get updates when any custom field linked to a feature is modified.

  • Jira/ADO Ticket Linked: Stay in the loop when a Jira or ADO ticket is linked to a feature.

  • Feedback/Insight Linked: Be informed when feedback or insight is associated with a feature.

  • New Sub-Feature Linked: Get notified when a new sub-feature is added under a feature.

  • New Roadmap Linked: Receive alerts when a new roadmap is linked to a feature.


How to Receive Notifications

You can receive notifications through two primary channels:

1) Email Notifications:

Zeda.io automatically sends email notifications when changes are triggered to entities you own or follow. This includes updates to feedback or features.

Examples of Specific Situations for Email Notifications:

  • When a colleague comments on an entity you own or follow.

  • When you are assigned ownership of a note or feature.

  • When a colleague @mentions you in a comment.

  • When the entities you follow change their status, timeframe, or release details.

2) In-App Notifications:

To view your notifications within Zeda.io, simply click on the Notifications icon on your workspace sidebar. Here, you’ll find updates for all the entities you own or are following, ensuring you stay on top of changes directly within the app.
