Spaces in Zeda.io help you organize your views (customer feedback, feature backlogs, roadmaps) by creating custom folders, grouping different views, and managing access control at the “space” level - all from your sidebar.

This hierarchy is designed to give teams more control and clarity by keeping all relevant data in organized spaces (or folders).

By default, you will have a general space→ shared with teammates and a personal space → private to you.

Here are a few steps on how to get started.

  1. Creating a “Space”:

    • Navigate to the Spaces section in your side nav.

    • Click on the “+” next to “Spaces”

    • Name your space to reflect its purpose (e.g., "Payments Team").

    • Hit Create to set up your new folder.

  2. Adding “Views” to Your Spaces:

    Once your space is created, you can add views from various modules like Feedback, Features, and Roadmaps. To add a view:

    • Click on the “+” next to a “specific space” (in our case, “Payments Team”)

    • Choose a module-specific view (e.g., Feedback, Features, Roadmap) you want to include.

    • Once you add your view, you can see it on your main dashboard screen.

    Actions on a view: Click on the three dots next to a view to:

    • Duplicate, rename, delete a view.

    • Move around views from one space to another.

    • Copy link and share views with team.


Example Use Case: For instance, if you’re managing the product team for Payments, you can create a "Payments Team" space. Within this folder, you might include views like:

  • Feedback from users about payment features.

  • A list of features under development.

  • The roadmap for upcoming payment-related updates.

By using Spaces, all relevant data is neatly organized, and access is controlled to ensure that your team has everything they need without the clutter.

  • Can I move views between spaces? Yes, simply use the “Move to” option within the view settings and select a space of your choice.

  • Can I share a space with non-team members? Space sharing is restricted to team members within Zeda.io to maintain data security.

  • What happens if I delete a space? Deleting a space will remove all its contents, so be sure to back up any important data before doing so.
