Integration with Slack will enable your team to pass on messages on Slack as requests or features in Zeda.io, thereby making it extremely easy for your entire org to coordinate with your product managers.
The Slack <> Zeda.io integration supports the following actions-
Create requests in your backlog directly from Slack
Share release notes on your team's Slack channel
Get notified whenever there is new Feedback or Public comment
To set up the integration, follow the below steps -
Log in to your Zeda.io workspace and navigate to Company Name and in that Workspace setting > Integrations > Slack
Log in to your Slack workspace from Zeda.io.
Create requests in Zeda.io from Slack.
Once your Slack workspace is connected to your Zeda.io account, you can create requests in the Zeda.io backlog directly from Slack messages.
Click on the three dots menu against any Slack message and search for "Create Request Zeda.io."
Select your Zeda.io workspace name
Define the request details like Type, Title, Customer, Description, and Client and submit the request.
View the created request in your Zeda.io backlog. Requests created from Slack have the value of the source field as Slack.
Share release notes & Feedback with your team on any of your Slack channels.
Once you have connected your Slack workspace with your Zeda.io workspace, you can easily share Release Notes and Feedback with your entire organization/team by sending a notification to your team on Slack when a release note is published in your Zeda.io workspace.
To do this, follow the below steps -
Once the release note is created, you can select the users. The user's selection part happens.
Enable the toggle for Slack and select the channel where you want to send a notification of the release notes.
Please note that your Slack workspace should be connected from Settings > Integrations for this to work.
